Grit Blasting is a method by which abrasive particles are made to impact on a component to clean or modify its surface properties. It is often used to clean or prepare the surfaces before welding and afterwards to improve the adhesion of the coatings such as painting or galvanizing. Grit blasting is used in almost every industry that uses metal including aerospace, automotive, construction, ship building, foundry etc. The blast room employed by us can handle large parts up to 8 m long and 6 m wide and is fitted with filtering & automatic recycling of blasting media and automatic dust collection system.
